Hi, I'm Sanjeevan.
Mechanical Engineer.

I bridge the gap between innovative design and rigorous manufacturing quality. Currently completing my undergraduate degree and actively working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer (CEng), specialising in end-to-end technical product development and systems integration.

Engineering Projects

Bosch Mass Casualty Ventilator
BOSCH UK INDUSTRY-BASED PROJECT

Mass Casualty Ventilator

Led a team to repurpose a high-speed power tool motor into a low-cost, medical-grade mass casualty ventilator. Utilised Siemens NX for complex mechanical housings and MATLAB/C++ for sensor feedback validation.

Siemens NX Rapid Prototyping MATLAB
Bridge Structure
Smart Campus Project

Load-Bearing Bridge

Directed the end-to-end design and physical stress-testing of a load-bearing structure. Implemented an inclusive design methodology using Pugh Matrices and optimised for DFM.

Structural Design Stress Testing DFM / GD&T
Trebuchet Prototype
Rapid Prototyping Sprint

Sprint Trebuchet Project

Managed a one-week agile design sprint to fabricate and test a functional trebuchet. Overcame a critical material failure by rapidly recalculating Excel trajectory models and pivoting to manual fabrication.

Industrial Experience

Technical Engineering Consultant

myBikeCloud (via Practera)
  • Acted as lead consultant for a 7-person team, mapping the V1 system architecture for an automated IoT storage startup. Designed the integration logic for BLE/NFC access, 600W hoist controls, and critical system safety interlocks.
  • De-risked the mechanical design by rigorously auditing it against UK statutory requirements. Translated complex LOLER and PUWER regulations into actionable constraints for hoist load-paths, emergency stops, and moving-part enclosures.
  • Engineered an off-grid energy model by calculating daily Wh consumption against UK solar yields and Li-Ion capacities. Exceeded the project brief, earning a formal founder recommendation for delivering actionable, scalable solutions.

Mechanical & Electrical Placement

Thames Water
  • Supported cross-functional teams in conducting process compliance and maintenance on critical heavy infrastructure, including industrial pumps and fluid control valves.
  • Utilised SCADA telemetry systems to monitor live asset performance, analysing operational data to conduct root cause analysis on equipment faults.
  • Gained hands-on experience operating within a highly regulated, continuous-process environment, strictly adhering to Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
